Ken Overshiner is a construction lender for JPMorgan Chase Bank in Houston and focuses primarily on Texas and Louisiana. He is responsible for the origination of loans which support Chase Bank’s community development efforts to provide affordable housing and to revitalize low and moderate income communities. Products include construction loans for single family, multifamily and retail projects, low income housing tax credits, new market tax credits, and historic tax credits.
Ken has over 20 years’ experience in real estate finance including master planned communities, construction of single family and multifamily housing, and mortgage lending for retail, industrial and office buildings. He has been a lender in Chase’s Community Development Real Estate department for 8 years. Prior to Chase, Ken was employed by Arthur Andersen and American General. Ken is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in accounting, and earned his MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Houston.
